Very disappointed. Our waitress was not attentive. Coming from a day at Yellowstone park, I was really thirsty and drank most of my water after first sitting down. Our waitress never even offered to refill it. After receiving my dinner, the meat in my burger tasted old. My father in law ordered a banana split and it was brought out with no banana. We asked our waitress if she could bring out a banana and she never did. The ice cream, however, was very good and the decor was fun. I don't think we will return due to the poor service and food. I hope this feedback helps your restaurant!

While my party didn't allow me to dine in the back room in a "covered wagon", we managed to find seating in the front of the restaurant. The food and service were both fine.

I think they could maybe improve on their ice cream service, however. Person in front of us asked about a banana split and was told it was nearly 1/2 gallon of ice cream! (They passed on it.) Their smallest ice cream serving - about $4 - was about 4 large scoops in a bowl (our friend ate on this bowl for over an hour!). They offered to serve less ice cream but the cost would be the same. I think they need to rethink this strategy and offer a small serving size at a reasonable price. After all, what do they have to lose?

Food was ok. I ordered ribs and they were pretty standard for the price; the ribs at the KOA in West Yellowstone were better and $10 cheaper. Rest of the family had pretty standard fare; not bad but not blown away. Kids had fun eating in the chuck wagons in the back so that kind of made up for the so so meals. They dont serve booze either so if you are looking for a beer and ribs after a long day hiking in the park you will only fulfil half your wishes.

A tourist trap in the First Degree! We ordered the 1/2 pound Bison Burger with sweet potato fries. Had that split (menu says a split cost $1.00 extra), and we shared a dinner salad. I had coffee, and my wife had a glass of water with lemon.

We got a beef burger, not Bison --we know the difference. Maybe it was 1/2 pound before grilling but it shrunk to the size of a double offered at any franchise burger place, due to low grade beef. Bison is leaner and tougher than standard beef burger. The salad was good, but nothing to extol about. Burger and fries served on waxed paper lined plastic tray.

I ordered a cup of coffee. I'm a retired US Military member who has had some pretty bad cup of coffees in my day, but what I got was the worst coffee I have had in my life! Horrible! I let it sit for a while thinking OK, this uncaring waitress might have a fresh pot brewing, and I eventually asked her for a top off when she check on us. She returned with a full carafe but it had been turned off hours ago, and she topped off my cup with old cold coffee!

But we're tourists right? So who cares at the Buckaroo Bill's BBQ, because what's the odds any customer comes back?

Take a picture outside, but find another place to eat. Places like this give America and Montana a bad reputation to foreign visitors. Thay should be ashamed!
