  So my wife and I had skinned out of Florida at the azz crack of dawn heading to West Yellowstone in order to begin our Yellowstone vacation. So needless to say, we were both pretty drained by the time the plane landed. We found our way to main strip of town and stumbled into the Timberline Cafe as more of a, "oh f**k .. whatever .. I'm hungry" gesture rather than a, "Hey this place looks nice and has good reviews." thing. And of course anytime you're exhausted and have spent the last 10 hours living off trail mix, crackers, and 4 ounce glasses of airplane Coke pretty much anything not processed by a machine and $hit into a plastic bag is going to taste good. Which is precisely why I held off on writing this review until our vacation was over. Because at the time, I couldn't decide if that really was the best bison burger ever or if I was just a starving man eating a Saltine thinking it's a Ritz. It turns out it wasn't the best bison burger I'd get on that trip, but it was by far and away the best bang for buck meal I'd have on that trip.
  
  The food was excellent. Wife and I both got the bison burgers and we were both very happy with them. They were perfectly cooked and came with a side of fresh, homemade fries. The service was prompt and polite. The coffee was perfect. Our tab before tip came to $27 which I thought was incredibly cheap considering the location and portion sizes. (I can eat a lot, and I did not leave hungry.)
